About the Host
Nick Bruse is the host of the cleantech show and is passionate about developing a sustainable society and clean technologies.
Over the last three years Nick has been the director of Strike Consulting, a commercialisation and venture consulting company specialising in the Australian cleantech sector. He works with clients to define growth strategies, facilitate capital raising, operational business processes and developing business opportunities in the high growth cleantech sector.
In 2006-2007 Nick was the General Manager of Clean Technology Australasia Pty Ltd. He co-coordinated the 2005 and 2006 AustralAsian Cleantech Forums including creating the marketing and business systems and managing service providers. He also established and coordinated the Sustainable Enterprise Network for small entrepreneurial businesses in Melbourne as a volunteer in a Not for Profit organisation.
He is a business professional with broad experience across multiple industries in business development, venture creation, innovation development and sustainability. His responsibilities have included marketing and sales, client consulting and account management, project and program management, investment and innovation development.
Industries include cleantech and environmental technologies, financial and professional services, event management, the not-for-profit sector, telecommunications, consumer electronics, defence and mining.
Nick has a Masters of Engineering and a Masters of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
